Presented at the “TEXTURE HOUSE” exhibition, “PADO” by OP LAB is an interactive installation that immerses visitors in the texture of the sea. The work originates from recordings of the actual waves at Yeongdo, Busan.

This recorded oceanic data is translated into dynamic visual elements using a combination of mapped pixel LED lighting and projection mapping. As visitors approach and move within the space, the installation responds, inviting them deeper into the synthesized textures of the waves and signaling the beginning of sensory immersion. The piece aims to evoke the feeling of entering the very fabric of the Yeongdo sea through light and interaction.
